Join our Voter Survey and Election Protection Team!
A year ago, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against voters in Shelby County v. Holder. The Court empowered hostile politicians and ALEC-big money to pass anti-voter laws like HB2305, based on frivolous claims and partisan politics.
Through our "Shelby Response Project"- a joint effort with the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona and ONE Arizona, we will build the case for voters and ensure every voter is able to cast a ballot.
Armed with pen and paper, volunteers and part-time staff will survey voters and provide election protection during the general election (Nov. 4). Data collected will be used to pass the federal Voting Rights Act amendment, expand voting rights in Arizona and fight for your right to vote, in court if necessary.
Be a Voting Rights Hero
For the past six elections, AZAN has worked in partnership with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights under Law and other groups to train and deploy volunteers whose job it is to help voters that are wrongly turned away from the polls. Attorneys trained in Arizona election law answer our 1-866-OUR-VOTE hotline to help voters on the spot.
