Endorse Clean Elections

The Independent Redistricting Commission concluded its first round of public input hearings on August 6th. Visit the IRC website  for results. Public input shapes our political districts for the next 10 years. It is important we support meeting the Voting Rights Act and help the IRC create more districts that will be competitive in General Elections.

GOOD NEWS - We had over 100 individuals volunteer to be plaintiffs in our legal challenge to stop the repeal of Clean Elections. After consulting with our attorneys, 10 were selected.

On Friday, Common Cause and the League of Women Voters of Arizona joined us as plaintiffs

 - a major show of support and strength in our challenge!   See the press release below.

STRONG LEGAL TEAM - Paul Eckstein and Perkins Coie are representing us and are the same team that won a similar case in 2004.  While they are being very generous, this challenge still has financial costs which aren't covered in our annual budget.

To no surprise, the well funded Goldwater Institute will be helping our opponents in court.

Join our Plaintiffs' TEAM with a $250, $100 or $25 donation today.

CLEAN ELECTIONS & Tucson's Clean Money system promote the most important principle of our democracy: Government of, by and for the People.  It's why the oligarchs and BIG MONEY want it repealed and why we're tackling the financial burden to strengthen this cause.

Stand with us and make a contribution today. You're continued support is essential.

Thank you,
