We had a great time honoring Tim Hogan and Paul Eckstein!
Thank you to our sponsors, hosts and attending guests.
On July 28th, over 120 elected, community, non-profit and grassroots leaders honored Tim Hogan and Paul Eckstein for their past and continuing work as Arizona Advocates. Of particular focus was their work defending Arizona’s voter passed 1998 Citizen’s Clean Elections Act and promoting government of, by and for the People. Citizens Clean Elections provides qualifying candidates in legislative and statewide races a tool to fight any corrupting influence of Big Money and corporate lobbyists. Attacked by these very powerful interests since voter passage in 1998, the Clean Elections system and Tucson’s Clean Money program are again facing a repeal effort by some incumbents and their private, lobbyist and corporate funders. Join us at our October 20th Networking Reception, Arizona’s Advocates Taking Charge.
